2011 Fantasy Football: Week 15 Review
Tuesday, December 20th, 2011Week 15 in the NFL held plenty of action for weekly fantasy football games. Again, Drew Brees was atop the scoring action with 5 touchdown passes on 412 yards. Matthew Stafford was next in line with 4 touchdown passes on 391 yards. Among non-quarterbacks, Calvin Johnson had the biggest day going for 9/214/2.
C.J. Spiller also had a huge game with 91 yards on the ground, 2 total touchdowns and 9 catches for 76 yards. Who would have thought he would have put together a game like that against the tough Miami defense? Another example of how sometimes the stats do lie and going with your gut feeling instead, can prove successful. There is always much to learn in the world of salary cap fantasy football.
Adrian Peterson finally returned to action this week after missing 3 games with an ankle. He ran for 60 yards on the ground. James Starks missed his second straight game after aggravating his bum ankle. Greg Jennings also missed the game against Oakland leaving all the work to Donald Driver, James Jones and Jordy Nelson.
