Trying to Finish the 2010 Fantasy Football Season on Top!

Thursday, January 13th, 2011

With 2010 coming to an end, it’s time for the About.com’s Reader’s Choice Awards.  We need you, the Fantazzle Community, to nominate Fantazzle.com under the category Best Fantasy Football Site. See below for details and remember, just because the NFL regular season is over, it doesn’t mean fantasy football has to be.  Play our fantasy football playoff games, keeping owners in the action all the way through the Super Bowl!

The About.com’s 2011 Reader’s Choice Awards showcases the best products, features, and services in multiple categories, including Best Fantasy Football Site. Nominations will be accepted from Jan. 13 to Feb. 4. Check back with About.com on Feb. 11, 2011 to see the finalists.

The winners will be announced on March 15. We would love to be recognized by you, our fans, as the Best Fantasy Football Site on the web.

Click HERE to nominate Fantazzle for Best Fantasy Football Site.  Simply put your name and email, along with a nomination for www.fantazzle.com.  Then click “Send Feedback”.  Thanks for all of your support and we look forward to an exciting 2011 with you at Fantazzle.com.

Play Fantasy Basketball and Fantasy Hockey While Waiting for the Next Round of Playoff Games!

While most fantasy sports fanatics tend to play fantasy football, we would also like to recommend our daily and weekly fantasy basketball and fantasy hockey games. We have several free games that can be played to gain some experience before jumping up to the entry fee games, so there really is nothing to lose if you feel you are lacking the skills or other players may have an edge.

Give our free games a try and after a little practice, who knows, maybe you’ll be the one that has the edge.

Thank you and good luck from Fantazzle Fantasy Sports!

The Fantasy Football Season is Not Over at Fantazzle

Tuesday, January 4th, 2011

Hey everyone,

Why should the fantasy football playoffs have to end just because the regular season has wrapped up? At Fantazzle, we feel that owners should have the privilege to play until the very last snap of the season.

With a ton of exciting fantasy football players still very much alive and active entering next weekend, it’s only right that owners get to keep on playing.

We’re proud to announce the launch of our fantasy football playoff game that keeps owners in the action all the way through the Super Bowl! With a guaranteed payout to the Top 10 finishers, this is a great opportunity to earn some serious cash. Simply select a squad and see how they perform through the postseason–it’s as easy as that!

Don’t want to commit to the same group of players for the entire playoffs? We understand, and we have another game to satisfy that very itch. Our weekly salary cap fantasy football game provides the opportunity to pick a new roster three times: the wild card round, the division round, and then a final, two-week round for the AFC/NFC championship games and the Super Bowl.

With entry fees of $11, $50, and $100 dollars available (and of course, there’s always our free fantasy football game), there should be some serious payouts in a limited field so act quickly before your spot is snatched up by another eager owner. The prize pool increases with every entry!

Daily and Weekly Fantasy Hockey and Fantasy Basketball Games Available Every Day!

If you’re done with the fantasy football season, we suggest trying our fantasy hockey games and/or our fantasy basketball games as there are large cash prizes waiting to be won in each of those as well!

We have it all at Fantazzle, and don’t forget, we’re the only fantasy sports site that rewards you with FanStock for continuing to play with us.

Happy New Year, everybody.

Fatty’s All-Stars Fantasy Poker Breakdown

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

We have already broken down the “Fatty’s Five” group, now it is time to breakdown the “Fatty’s All-Stars” in the free fantasy poker game. Don’t think this is useless information. Remember, your Fatty’s players receive double the amount of points that your other 8 players do. If I were you, I’d pay close attention.

The one player that sticks out the most in this group, and not just for his facial features has gotta be Mike “The Nose.” He’s the heart, the soul and the owner of Fatty’s in New York. As the most experienced poker players, next to Old Man Bill ofcourse, he has gotta be a favorite to lead the Fatty’s crew. The “Nose” will be looking to better his 2009 Main Event finish where he cashed out with nearly $33,000. Not bad at all for a week of work.

Kenny “Kendo” is a steady and reliable player who will be at the Main Event after winning a charity poker game earlier this year. The family man says Phil Ivey best fits his style of play. If he takes the ways of winning from Ivey then cashing out at the Main Event is a real possibility.

From what we’ve heard about Carmine, he’s not the guy to pick out of this group. But this will be his second appearance at the Main Event. Maybe 2010 is the year is luck finally turns around and he catches some river cards.

Then there’s Scottie Mayhem. A fairly new poker player compared to the rest of the All-Stars, his competitiveness makes him a safe pick. But one problem, this guys wears a hat with his name on it. C’mon who does that? Just for that, he’s off my fantasy poker team.

Saving the best for last. “Old Man” Bill has been playing poker since FDR was sitting in the White House. That is what you call experience. The 89-year old great grandpa had a distinguished career as a merchant marine chief engineer and business entrepreneur. Now he takes everyone’s money at Fatty’s. If experience and ruthlessness is your key in selecting the All-Star, Old Man Bill is your go to guy.

OUR FATTY’S ALL-STAR PICK: All 5 guys on this list have the possibility of cashing out in the Main Event. But our All-Star selection for the free fantasy poker game is going to the Fatty’s owner, Mike “The Nose.”

Be sure to get your fantasy poker lineups in before July 5th when the Main Event starts.
