Metrodome Roof Collapses, Vikings/Giants Game Post-Poned
Sunday, December 12th, 2010Hey all,
With most fantasy owners gearing up for the fantasy football playoffs in their fantasy league or even testing their skills in our SuperStakes Sundays Fantasy Football Playoff game, we wanted to extend a bit of news we caught.
According to reports, the Minnesota Vikings stadium’s roof has collapsed due to the weight of snow, and the game that was previously scheduled for Sunday (today), will now be played on Monday at the earliest. The reason we’re posting this news on our blog is because there is still no official word or guarantee that this game is played on Monday or at all in Week 14.
If you own Minnesota Vikings or New York Giants players, this is a reminder about the situation, and a suggestion that you should follow it closely and obtain all the information you can. Whether you’re playing our fantasy football games or fighting your opponent’s in your own fantasy football league, we still would hate to see anyone lose a fantasy playoff game because some of their players weren’t available for their lineups.
If this game gets post-poned for Week 15 or beyond, most fantasy football leagues won’t award you the stats for the previous week. We’re not saying what will happen one way or the other, just merely making anyone who reads today’s blog aware of the possibility that starting a Vikings or Giants player could end badly this week.
In addition to this lineup warning, we’d like to remind you once again about our SuperStakes Sundays Fantasy Football Playoff game, which is a fantasy football salary cap game that runs from Week 14-16, and can be played for $11 or $100.
Get into the action today and compete for huge cash prizes in the fantasy football playoffs!
