Play SuperStakes Sundays Fantasy Football at Fantazzle!

Friday, September 24th, 2010

Hello everyone,

After a jam-packed first two weeks of fantasy football, we’re excited to step forward toward our next major fantasy game and promotion – SuperStakes Sundays fantasy football contest! This new fantasy football game starts out with a $200 entry fee for it’s first week, with a prize pool of $4,000, plus Fantazzle’s own addition of $1,000, putting the overall pot at an even $5,000!

But that’s not all, as the first week of this game will be receiving 100% Payouts! That’s right, all you have to do is pay the $200 entree fee to get into the game, and then you have a shot at one of FIVE cash prizes! However, this exciting 100% Payout offer lasts for JUST THIS WEEK, and starts on Sunday, September 26th. This also is the perfect time to log back in and play fantasy games, whether it’s our SuperStakes Sundays game or other games, and receive a desposit bonus!

For the first week of the SuperStakes Sundays, we will be holding a 20-person contest with our $5,000 in total prizes, with the goal of raising the number on our total prize money each week, depending on participation. While the 100% Payout is just for this week and ends after Sunday, we would still like to remind you that this is a weekly game played EVERY Sunday.

If the $200 entry fee seems a little too steep, we have just the thing for you: SATELLITES! That’s right, we will now be offering satellite games to help our members enter high stakes games at a much lower cost. The SuperStakes Sundays game can be entered through our $10 or $50 satellite games, or through one of our various satellite give-a-way promotions (keep your eyes open as these opportunities will be announced on the site).

The SuperStakes Sundays game will be played in our usual Fantasy Football Salary Cap Game. Simply pick the best team of 2QBs/3RBs/3WRs/2TEs, while remaining under the $1,000,000 fantasy budget. Always be sure to keep an eye on injuries and matchups. We also suggest putting your fantasy knowledge and research to the test by selecting fantasy sleepers when completing your roster, in order to give you an edge on the competition!

In addition to our new SuperStakes Sundays game and promotion, we would also like to announce the unveiling of our Fantasy Games Leaderboard. We figured it was about time to honor those fantasy players in our community who have won the most games and have done the best in certain categories. On our Leaderboard, you will find rankings and stats for games won, total points accumulated, and FanStock accrued.

Keep coming back to the Fantazzle site and blog for more game news and fantasy promotions!

Good luck to all who enter and play games this week!

Fantazzle Upgrading to New Server – Please Be Patient

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010
Hi all,

As some of you may be aware, we experienced some issues with our server earlier today, but jumped on it right away and fixed the problem after only a few hours. In an effort to make sure that kind of issue doesn’t happen again, we are upgrading to a new server, which may cause some users to be unable to access their account for a short time. Please be patient with us as we get everything back in order.

Please contact us at support@fantazzle.com if you have any questions or issues.

Fantazzle – Site back up. I want my $3 dollars!!!

Monday, September 20th, 2010

Allright, Fantazzle is back up. Down a little over 3hrs. I know we must of had people check results during that time (maybe even Ray Rice himself!), but I gotta thank GoDaddy for not doing this yesterday. That brings a smile to my face. Games will be up soon and Daily and Weekly Fantasy Baseball are ready to go!

Fantazzle – #@$% GoDaddy….. Web Site Down for a bit

Monday, September 20th, 2010

Hi all, Fantazzle has a Dedicated Secure GoDaddy Server Issue (seriously call them, I’m not shifting the blame). We hope to be back online in ~one hour. Its 1:15pm ET now. Been out since ~10-11am ET.

The service has been ok and usually the product is good (except for 2 issues that I wish had just never crossed my mind writing this heh..). I hope Fantazzle’s is better. We don’t any ‘X-rated’ videos ‘too hot for tv’ on our website though. Sorry fellas (and ladies).

Play Weekly Fantasy Football Games at Fantazzle!

Greetings everyone,

With the new fantasy football season already off to a great start, Fantazzle would like to welcome everyone into the new season and take a minute to remind everyone of our Weekly Fantasy Football games - Fantasy Football Salary Cap, Fantasy Football Challenge, and Fantasy Football Pick’em.

We currently offer all three Weekly fantasy football games with entry fees ranging from $5-$1,000. Did we mention we have some of the most competitive payouts in the industry as well? With up to a 91% payout, there really isn’t any reason why Fantazzle shouldn’t be your home for the 2010 fantasy football season.

One of the more exciting things going on at Fantazzle, is the releasing of our Season Long fantasy football games. That’s right, we are now offering Season Long fantasy football games, as well as Weekly fantasy football games. With the beginning of the football season being hectic for so many of us, we have decided to begin our Season Long games in Week 2 of the NFL season.

We currently have Season Long games available with $50, $100, $500, and $1,000 entry fees.

Sign Up and Play the FREE Ray Rice Fantasy Football Challenge Game

As I’m sure you have heard by now, Ray Rice is the official sponsor of Fantazzle for the 2010 fantasy football season, and we have teamed up to bring you the Ray Rice Fantasy Football Challenge game. Each week the members of Fantazzle will be competing for cash prizes, autographed Ray Rice prizes, and entries into the Week 8 or Week 16 grand prize contest.

Play Season Long Fantasy Football Games at Fantazzle!

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

Hi all,

The first week of exciting NFL and fantasy football action is in the books, and we at Fantazzle Fantasy Games just want to reflect on an awesome week, as well as look toward the weeks ahead. Week two brings us our first ever Season Long fantasy football games, where we will be providing our fantasy community with two season long game formats – Season Long Fantasy Football Challenge, and Season Long Fantasy Football Salary Cap.

We purposely spaced our weekly and season long fantasy football games apart to give everyone a breather, and especially so everyone could get a fair crack at signing up for whichever season long game they wished to play. Another reason was to help ease the pain of losing a star fantasy player due to injury in week one, ala Tom Brady going down in the first game of the 2008 season. Just as we feared, there were a few significant season-ending injuries, with Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant popping out as the biggest one.

In our Season Long fantasy football games, injuries, bye weeks, and roster issues never become a problem. You also can pick your entry fee and potential cash winnings that you want to play for, in addition to picking any fantasy players to complete your fantasy roster. And it gets even better. Your fantasy skills and knowledge don’t stop after registering and picking your team for the first week of play, as you have the option of picking a new fantasy lineup EVERY week for the entire season!

So, if the Season Long game sounds like it’s for you, sign up now before leagues close this Sunday, September 19, 2010!

If you wish to pass on the Season Long games, we would like to remind you of our ongoing weekly fantasy football games, where you have the three usual formats – Fantasy Football Challenge, Fantasy Football Salary Cap, and Fantasy Football Pick’em. You can play every week, or every other week. No commitment, and nothing to worry about!

Check Out Our FREE Ray Rice Fantasy Football Game

As many of you already know, Ray Rice is Fantazzle’s official site sponsor. What some of you may not be aware of, however, is the awesome free fantasy football game we are providing with the help of Ray Rice. Our absolutely FREE Ray Rice Fantasy Football Challenge game is exactly like our regular Fantasy Football Challenge game, except it is free, and we are awarding the top three finishers each week with cash prizes!

Players who places 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will win $50, $25, and $10, respectively. In addition any players who finish in the top-ten of the Ray Rice fantasy football game get entered into a drawing later in the season for additional prizes and autographed Ray Rice memorabilia!

Week two already gave way to three winners, as Dknight95 took home the $50 1st place prize, while salsipuedes and ptworker took home the $25 2nd place and $10 3rd place prizes, respectively. Head over to the site now to check out our Season Long and Weekly fantasy football games, and feel free to take part in our free Ray Rice promotion game each week!

Good luck to all who enter!

Super Bowl XLV

Dallas vs Baltimore: Baltimore

There it is folks; the Super Bowl XLV winner will be the Baltimore Ravens. Led by fantasy football superstar Ray Rice and quarterback Joe Flacco on offense, the Ravens are sure to have one of the most dynamic teams in all of football in 2010. With perennial All-Pro Safety Ed Reed coming back and supposedly healthy for the new season, Baltimore is primed and ready to have one of their best seasons in a few years.

The additions of Anquan Boldin and T.J. Houshmanzadeh should really help the Ravens’ offense this year and if they are able to find a rhythm this team could be really scary. They already have one of the best rushing attacks with the likes of Ray Rice, Willis McGahee, and Le’Ron McClain, and we all know about their ferocious defense lead by Ray Lewis. Look for the Ravens to dominate at times and be the team to beat in the AFC this year. Good luck in your 2010 fantasy football season!

Fantazzle Fantasy Football – 2010 Fantasy Football Rankings – QB and RB update

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Hi all,

Based on several NFL events these past few days along with additional fantasy football rankings research some changes were made to the 2010 fantasy football rankings for the QB fantasy rankings and RB fantasy rankings. The 2010  QB fantasy rankings didn’t change that significantly. The 2010 RB fantasy football rankings did have several major changes which are described below. Fantazzle’s Fantasy Football rankings are due to the FSTA and FFLibrarian before the Thu night game so today and early tomorrow we will be cleaning up TE and WR and look to make a 2008 fantasy football ranking impact instead of the 2009 impact….FORTE! Tellin’ ya, never again will I trust a player with an accent aigu.

QB Fantasy Football Rankings

The biggest movers (and really only significant ones at all) were moving Flacco up two spaces and Brady down two spaces. I like moving Flacco up with the addition of Housh as I don’t see how this don’t because a complete passing team except down by the goal line. Don’t get me wrong, Ray Rice is too good not to use him running, but I believe there will be more passing plays with Housh, especially around mid season when he really has the system down, and at the same time dump offs to Ray Rice. Not too bad a safety valve to have eh? Brady was hard to move, but its really hard to read up in NE right now with Welker not fully healed and Randy Moss doing Randy Moss things. That may become a major problem soon. I may be putting Edelman on my WR top 50 as he may get more playing time because of R Moss pouting it up and Bellichek not putting up with it.

2010 Fantasy Football Rankings QB (Updated 9/7/2010 @ 11:30 pm)

Fantazzle Fantasy Football 2010 Rankings – 2010 Fantasy Football Player Rankings

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

ATTENTION - Why read another fantasy football site that posts 2010 fantasy football rankings?

Because in 2008, Fantazzle Fantasy Football Games was recognized as the #1 fantasy football player ranking site among the top names in the fantasy football industry. The award was given by the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, FFLibrarian and the NYTimes fantasy football blog is where you can see the results. There were over 20 fantasy football sites in the contest and those sites are widely known as the best sources for fantasy football advice and projections.

2010 Fantasy Football Rankings

As described above in  2008 Fantazzle won a major fantasy football award according to the NYTimes. Fantazzle at the time was five months old. We went up against over twenty (20)  of THE best fantasy sports sites (you all ever hear of YaCPN or ESBShoo?) or straight no messin’ around fantasy football sites period (which all seem to have roto in their name, which according to Wikipedia means broken). I gotta believe you all may have come across these sites along with just a ‘few’  fantasy football magazines over the past few years. I think the number of available fantasy magazines this year FINALLY surpassed the tattoo/motorcycle/wave runner segment, a major victory for the fantasy football industry. Now who’s just a fad?

Now to be fair, this was in 2008 (I can’t believe we are not mentioned anywhere on that link). In 2009? We would rather say we didn’t get our picks in time, but we did and they included Matt Forte among other high profile Bears names classified as under-rated. Let’s just say if the Chicago Bears didn’t ever exist, we would have done pretty well. So we got that going for us… Last year, some compamy called ESBShoo won, wait I got that wrong, it was CBS (congrats!) who probably weren’t so high on Forte, Matt 22 RB (CHI). We will be back on the map this year so we don’t become Michael Clayton (WR)…. who reminds me a lot of Matt Forte last year. What makes it worst is I knew better. Never trust a dude w/ a accent aigu…this isn’t only a fantasy rule, but a life rule that I live by day to day.

Nevertheless – 2008. Created Fantazzle, a daily and weekly fantasy football game company and won the fantasy ranking award. A great start for Fantazzle and just the beginning of more things to come. Just this year, we were invited to be a pro fantasy football player in a great fantasy football game in its 2nd year – RapidDraft. It’s free this year so what do you have to lose, what ~20-30min? I know what you have to win – over $150,000! The great thing about RapidDraft and Fantazzle’s fantasy games are that it is not a random contest with a name drawn out of a hit, they are games which allow your skills determine your outcomes. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have my skills determine if I win or lose rather than a lucky number.

Enough! Lets get on with it. So, the projections below will be Fantazzle’s submission to the 2010 Fantasy Football Accuracy Challenge award. The point system is simple and we are only looking at QB/RB/WR/TE. No points per reception (PPR) and four points for a QB TD. And with that, please enjoy the rankings through agreement or whole heartedly ‘Youuuuu IDIOT!!!!’ I will respond to all comments that are not spam, personally!
