FREE Baseball Game Promo Results

Monday, May 31st, 2010

Congratulations to BaseballFan for winning Fantazzle’s 1st Special Fantasy Baseball Game promo with Fighting Chance Fantasy, Fantasy Alarm and Fantasy Judgment.

The fantasy baseball promo game started on Friday May 28th and ended Sunday May 30th. Entrants picked who they thought would have the best weekend. Points accrued throughout the weekend and BaseballFan ended up on top, edging out primetime31 by ten points.

BaseballFan, also known as in non-Fantazzle land as Nate Hughes won a Fighting Chance t-shirt for his fantasy baseball knowledge. But more importantly Hughes also won a 200% bonus because of the $50 deposit he made before he entered his lineup.

“Nothing better than winning prizes for free,” Hughes said, “I saw this promo game and decided to give it a go and enter the game for free. At the last moment I deposited the $50 to see if I could turn it into $100. Very glad I made that choice and hopefully will turn it into more cash playing daily at Fantazzle.”

Only participants who entered the free promo game and deposited $50 after the game went live on Thursday night (May 27th) were eligible for the 200% bonus if they won the free promo game. Luckily for Hughes, he did not second guess himself and is now $50 richer.

The Free Fantasy Baseball Promo game awarded prizes from Fantazzle, Fantasy Alarm, Fighting Chance and Fantasy Judgment for the Top 4 entrants.

Primetime21 came in 2nd and was credited $10 to his Fantazzle account. TFerrara placed third and was awarded a Free 60-day free trial to FantasyAlarm. Floridagirl earned 4th place by one point and won a free arbitration from the judges at FantasyJudgment.

Congratulations to all our winners! They received great prizes from great fantasy websites.

NASCAR Southern 500 Fantasy Racing Game

Friday, May 7th, 2010

The Sprint Cup Series invades Darlington Racetrack this weekend for the Showtime Southern 500. As like every other weekend, Fantazzle is offering their Weekly Fantasy Racing Game. It’s easy to play and easy to win cash. Lineups lock this week at 745pmET on Saturday night.

Pick five racers, one each out of the five groups we give you. The best lineup that scores the most points at the end of the race wins. Fantazzle uses the same scoring system as the Spring Cup Series. Each fantasy driver receives points based on where they finish in the race. In addition, each driver receives five bonus points if they lead one lap during the race and an additional five points if they lead the most laps. A maximum of ten bonus points may be earned.

Darlington is a 1.36 mile oval track that always has been called by Jeff Gordon as the track that is “Too tough to Tame.”

Gordon, who is without a win so far this season and sits in 6th place in the Cup standings, might be an early favorite to win this weekend. In his career, he has sat in victory lane seven times at Darlington.

The never aging Mark Martin took the checkered flag last year. Martin gambled on fuel late in the race and then held off several challenges from four-time defending series champion and Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jimmie Johnson for his first win at Darlington since 1993.

Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Greg Biffle, Martin, and Kyle Busch have all had recent success at the track and are the favorites to end up in victory lane

Check out the new Fantasy Basketball Playoff Salary Cap Game page for official rules, scoring, and instructions on how to play.Your browser may not support display of this image.

With two series already starting on Saturday and Sunday (Cavs vs Celtics and Jazz vs Lakers), it’s extra important to use a good strategy. Pick your team with the fantasy players that you think will last the longest in the second round, as well as accumulate the most total points!

The game officially starts at 10:30 pm ET on Monday night, so set your lineup and be prepared!

For a variety of daily and weekly fantasy sports games, including fantasy football, fantasy baseball, and fantasy hockey, visit Fantazzle.com!

Tips and Advice:

Due to the $1,000,000 salary cap, each fantasy user has to be careful who they pick at each position, while thinking ahead to the next position.

One of the best strategies is to pick the top player you desire in each positional category (C,G,F, Util), and then go back to each position and try to round out your fantasy roster with “lesser” players, but with good value.

Also, pay close attention to players who were recently eliminated from playoff contention (Milwauee Bucks players), as well as players who have already played in an NBA Playoff game.
